H/H 2010 Michael Andrews Reserve
This is a full bodied rounded wine with layers of caramel and fudge with a lingering finish of toffee and tobacco.
Coyote Canyon Vineyard
In 2010 was a shorter summer but nevertheless the fruit ripened beautifully with great varietal expression.
Vineyard Source: Coyote Canyon Vineyard
AVA: Horse Heaven Hills
Winemaker: John J. Gabriel
The grapes were handpicked at perfect ripeness and full of flavor then sorted and crushed. Fermentation took place in small 1 ton bins and the wines were fermented to dryness. The Graciano extracted its color beautifully in the very early stages of fermentation and showed great promise; full bodied, great mid palate but without the tannin structure that a Cabernet Sauvignon would have. The wine was aged 17 months in small French oak barrels.
